Yohi, to me, is an absolute angel on this Earth. She created Calma Care to be an absolute healing haven. I began going to receive acupuncture treatments with her back in May of 2019, at the very beginning of a long and grueling healing journey reversing a lifetime of chronic mystery auto-immune disease mimicking illnesses, where doctors would suppress symptoms through medications but never treat the root cause. Yohi has helped me overcome some of the most soul-shattering seasons of my life, using the ancient art and science of acupuncture to re-establish harmony in my body, mind, and spirit, after feeling hopeless about my own ability to heal. She truly empowers you and reminds you that it is your own God-given vessel that is doing the healing work, she is simply assisting the beautiful natural process through the medically extremely relevant practice of stimulating the body's meridians through the acupuncture needles. I could not be more grateful for all the time I have spent at Calma Care - from receiving acupuncture treatments and my first herbal remedies and self-care routines at the beginning, to later after a hiatus in 2020 due to quarantine isolation, returning back to incorporate lymphatic drainage massages by the incredible Veronica Nagliatti along with my acupuncture treatments, and not to mention the wonderful, high quality, organic essential oil-based botanical facial products I love using as part of my now daily skincare routine. I think of the healers at Calma Care as my own healing family, and I feel so blessed to have this beautiful safe space in my community. The environment itself is so peaceful and calming to the nervous system, really conducive to the healing process. I have experienced a couple other acupuncturists while living in another city, but I can honestly say I would never go anywhere else to receive this type of healing treatment. Yohi is simply the best at what she does. She is kind, caring, compassionate, empathetic, and instead of diagnosing you like I had been used to with x, y, z problems regarding how your body is malfunctioning, she intuitively scans and arranges the exact proper treatment for that day and helps reassure you and your own healing power to calm your mind, relax, and truly allow the healing process to take place as she turns off the lights, puts on relaxing music, puts the bed heater and foot heater on, and allows you to feel so loved, nurtured, and pampered. I feel the same exact way about my massage therapist, Veronica Nagliatti, whose lymphatic drainage massages always leave me feeling absolutely amazing, rather than that feeling of "did I just get a massage?" as one might normally feel after lymphatic drainage. She is truly so gifted at what she does and I honestly would not work with any other masseuse either-I have established such a true and lasting relationship with her and with Yohi. I would recommend Calma Care as your one-stop-shop for all your holistic healing needs - Chinese medicine and acupuncture, all forms of massage and body work, nutrition counseling, and the many other services they offer that I may be forgetting to mention currently. Love Love Love going to Yohi! Her staff is all fantastic and caring and she explains everything to you if you have never done cupping or acupuncture before. I have been going to her for prenatal assistance with pain. Very relaxing, clean, and will be going back as much as possible. I started seeing Yohi about 1 year ago!! Boy my life has changed so much in 1 year. Yohi is so knowledgeable and do amazing. When I started I was diagnosed with RA and I was in so much pain, Yohi sat with me and explained how acupuncture would help me. She was so right, today I’m so much better that I’ve been also doing cupping and my body has responded amazingly. I love Yohi!  Not only that, my 3 little boys (ages 10, 5 and 3) love her too.  We have been seeing Yohi for treatments to boost our immune systems, manage asthma, eczema and also for a way to relieve stress/tension in all our lives.  She is so gentle with the children while doing acupuncture and superb with her cupping techniques.  I recently experienced a massage with Steven and it was the best I've ever received, way better than any spa, any day! Highly recommend Calmacare by Yohi!  Everything is very clean and so zen!!  From the moment you walk in you already feel relaxed- the reception area is calming and modern. Yohi and steven(massage therapist) are both warm, relaxing but firm with their touch. They know how to accommodate your needs and cater to differing requests about your therapies.   They male homemade herbal tea that is so yummy and fulfilling. I know Yohi offers other things like lotions and oils that I can’t wait to try. Her homemade bath salts are so great too:)

I was skeptical at the idea an acupuncturist but after meeting Yohi and my first session that changed. The center was very welcoming and Yohi is amazing at what she does. The acupuncture has really helped with my sinuses and the cupping has made a huge difference after my workouts. I have been seeing Yohi for the past 18 months for various health issues including stress, anxiety and pain.  The treatments work. She is very sensitive which helps her to treat her patients as well as very knowledgeable in her field. Even now during the COVID - 19 pandemic she has been a help to me with care remotely. I have know Yohi for a little bit over a year now she’s always been kind and super helpful. I visited her office about 2 weeks with terrible lower back pain and incredible sciatic pain. I had tried everything previous to visiting her from pain killers to deep tissue massage nothing worked. After one visit with her I want to say I was 80 percent better. Yohi is one of the best person around and I don’t say that lightly. I originally went to her about 6 years ago because I  used to deal with some back and underlying issues. A couple of treatment I was fascinated of what a needle could do. But what really made me a firm believer in her work and acupuncture in general is that 3 years ago I suffered from Bell’s palsy, meaning half my face was paralyzed. It was definitely a scary feeling to go through. After a week of her treatment we saw progress. The doctors was telling me it would take months to recover if I were to. She was one of the people that definitely change my life and view on the whole holistic approach. Yohi’s since then has been my go to person if I i have any question she is there and she definitely shows that she cares. Her treatment are like no other. Especially when you get your cupping done from her she out of this world amazing. Highly recommend it. Also if you haven’t tried her oil blends yet I’d say go for it. I’m so happy that I could start a routine with them during this quarantine in the mater of three day I already see a different with my acne and feel a bit firmer in my face. During this hard and difficult time we are all going through she shows that she truly care for the Health of human being and is doing what she can to make a difference.
